Project objectives:
The project “Enhancing the NGO CASA’s influence on positive social changes in Kosovo” seeks to enhance citizen engagement in CASA programming by fostering a deeper public understanding of CASA’s work, its objectives, and the values it stands for.
This overall objective will be attained through a structural set of activities designed to achieve two specific objectives:
- Enhance the organizational capacity to effectively communicate with the targeted audience and the general public.
- Increased internal competencies of CASA team members to work effectively in the challenging socio-political environment presented in Kosovo.
The set of actions proposed to achieve these objectives entails structural efforts to enhance internal organization competencies required for successful navigation within the conflict-driven environment as well as mainstream organization communication practices in order to broaden its reach toward constituency and decision-makers. This will enable NGO CASA to strengthen its influence and ultimately enhance its ability to achieve meaningful and sustainable impacts in line with its mission and objectives.
Expected results:
The main result of the project is the strengthening of the NGO CASA’s ability to successfully implement complex initiatives aimed at building trust between ethnic communities in Kosovo and enhancing civic activism within the Serbian community in Kosovo. This will be achieved through the improved capacity of the organization to effectively communicate with target groups and maximize the results of activities implemented in inter-ethnic environments. The enhanced implementation capacities of the organization will in turn yield the following results:
- Enhanced citizen engagement in local advocacy initiatives, demanding accountable governance
- Promotion of practices of active citizens’ involvement in civic society initiatives.
- Increased inter-ethnic interactions and social exchange to build trust between Kosovo communities, fostering durable peace.
