Within the framework of the “Creative Agents of Peace” project, a workshop and joint meeting of partner organizations was held in North Mitrovica. The workshop brought together representatives of KUUM from Belgrade, IZI from Pristina, CDE Dolina from Bujanovac, and the Cultural Club Gračanica, with the aim of strengthening partnerships, joint planning, and developing future artistic initiatives.
During the workshop, partners participated in joint sessions dedicated to presenting their organizations, defining shared project goals, expected results, and implementation plans. Through open discussions and group work, cooperation models, communication mechanisms, and principles of joint action were developed to guide the implementation of project activities in Serbia and Kosovo.
A particular focus was placed on developing inclusive and conflict-sensitive approaches, as well as co-creating artistic initiatives that connect young people, artists, and activists through creative and participatory processes. Participants exchanged experiences, mapped challenges, and developed methodologies that promote dialogue, trust, gender equality, and active community engagement.
Through joint work, a shared operational model was developed to serve as the foundation for the implementation of future project activities and coordination between partner organizations. The workshop also served as a space for mutual acquaintance, trust-building, and the generation of new ideas for regional cooperation through art, creative activism, and social engagement.
The project brings together organizations and young actors from Serbia and Kosovo with the aim of promoting peace, inclusion, dialogue, and long-term cooperation through artistic and socially engaged initiatives.
The project is supported by the German Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt) through the Institute for International Cultural Relations (ifa – Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen), via the Zivik funding program.
