Terms of Reference (ToR) for Finance Officer
The Center for Affirmative Social Actions (CASA) is a non-governmental organization committed to promoting social justice, human rights, and inclusive development. Through the implementation of various donor-funded projects and community initiatives, NGO CASA works to strengthen civic participation, social cohesion, and democratic governance. To support the effective financial management of its growing portfolio of activities, NGO CASA is seeking to engage a Finance Officer.
Responsibilities
-Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and supporting documentation
-Processing financial transactions and ensuring proper filing of financial documentation
-Supporting the preparation of financial reports in line with donor and organizational requirements
-Monitoring budget implementation and expenditure tracking
-Assisting with procurement and payment procedures in accordance with internal policies
-Supporting financial verification and reconciliation processes
-Maintaining organized financial archives and records
-Assisting during internal and external audits, as required
-Supporting compliance with donor regulations and organizational financial procedures
-Contributing to internal financial updates and administrative reporting
Profile and Qualifications
-Relevant education in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field
-Previous experience in financial administration, accounting, or project finance is considered an asset
-Familiarity with financial documentation and reporting procedures
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Fluency in English
Conditions of Engagement and Duration
-Duty station: North Mitrovica
-Expected starting date: Mid-July 2026
-Duration: Initial 3 months, with possibility of extension
-Expected monthly salary: Competitive with qualifications and experience
