Terms of Reference (ToR) for Monitoring Officer
Center for Affirmative Social Actions (CASA) is a non-governmental organization committed to promoting social justice, human rights, and inclusive development. NGO CASA is implementing a set of program activities aimed at supporting civil society initiatives and individual actors through structuredsupport mechanisms. Given the scope of these activities, the organization seeks to strengthen its monitoring and oversight capacities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the implementation of supported activities against planned objectives and timelines
- Reviewing narrative and financial reports for completeness and consistency
- Supporting beneficiaries in understanding reporting and documentation requirements
- Assisting in the use and maintenance of monitoring tools and templates
- Conducting regular check-ins and field visits where needed
- Flagging potential risks, delays, or inconsistencies in implementation
- Ensuring proper filing and documentation of program-related materials
- Contributing to internal progress updates and summaries
Profile and Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in project monitoring, implementation, or coordination
- Basic understanding of financial reporting and documentation practices
- Experience working with civil society organizations and/or community initiatives is an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an asset
Conditions of Engagement and Duration:
- Duty station: North Mitrovica (with field engagement as required)
- Duration: Initial 6 months, with possibility of extension
- Expected monthly salary: Competitive based
