In the past several months, NGO CASA has actively participated in the consultation process over the Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe (CoE). We discussed matters of interest to non-majority communities with CoE rapporteurs, eminent lawyers, the CoE office in Pristina, and numerous decision-makers at both the Kosovo and international levels.
The finishing touch is a report prepared by NGO CASA policy team, summarizing Kosovo’s compliance with CoE community rights standards. We strongly encourage the Kosovo government to consider the recommendations and address the issues highlighted in this report.
This report also marks the conclusion of an eight-month project supported by the Open Society Foundations (OSF), which enabled CASA to mobilize the necessary resources for the successful completion of this task.
