On 29 September 2026, the Center for Affirmative Social Action – CASA and Space/s for Societal Change, hosted a working dinner with members of the diplomatic community in Pristina, within the framework of the initiative “Moving from ‘Kosovo Serb Integration’ to(wards) a New Social Contract for a Truly Multiethnic Kosovo”, funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kosovo.
The dinner provided an opportunity for an informal and constructive exchange on current socio-political developments relevant to a democratic and multiethnic Kosovo, as well as on challenges and opportunities for strengthening dialogue and social cohesion.
CASA and Space/s also shared updates on the initiative’s ongoing activities and the outcomes of the New Social Contract Forum on “Inter-municipal Cooperation – a Core Feature of Local Self-Governance in Kosovo Left Underdeveloped,” held earlier that day.
The discussion also addressed the importance of developing a social contract perspective within the political dialogue and creating space for meaningful Kosovo Serb–Albanian dialogue on a shared future, including through stronger mechanisms of local self-governance and democratic decentralisation.
CASA and Spaces extends its appreciation to all participants for their engagement and for contributing to an open and constructive exchange.
