The first edition of the “Basis of Phrases” contains over the 400 phrases that Serbs and Albanians use in daily conversation. The dictionary of phrases “Baza fraza/Baza me fraza” was created in collaboration with academics from Kosovo and Serbia with the intention of advancing language learning resources and encouraging bilingualism in Kosovo.
This manual is intended for all people who want to learn the Serbian and Albanian languages, as well
as for those who already know these languages in order to improve their knowledge.
The dictionary also demonstrates the historical linkages, diversity of languages, and cultural richness between the Albanian and Serbian populations.
It was created as part of the Barabar initiative, supported by UNMIK.
