NGO CASA pairs up with the Center for the rights of persons with disabilities from the municipality of Štrpce for the initiative on the development of a municipal strategy for the employment of persons with disabilities. Persons with disabilities are one of the most vulnerable and financially deprived social group in non-majority communities in Kosovo, often living at the margin of a society striving to assure basic needs of a dignified life, including appropriate medical treatments. The pilot project implemented by CIPOS Štrpce and supported by the British Government within the ALVED program facilitates an unprecedent initiative in the development of local affirmative policies on employment and social inclusion of PwDs. CASA technical team will assist CIPOS in drafting the strategy document and suggest the Municipality of Štrpce efficient and tailored road map in the economic and social inclusion of PwDs.
