Diversity of Ethnic Communities in Kosovo Through the Lenses of Young Photographers

A group of over 20 young photographers from diverse ethnic backgrounds recently completed a journey across Kosovo to capture its rich cultural diversity. Beginning their travels in Mitrovica and Pristina, they explored Janjevo/Janjeva, immersing themselves in the region’s traditions and heritage.

Their caravan continued through Prizren and included stops in Dragaš/Dragash and Prevalac/Prevalla, where the unexpected snowfall in Dragaš/Dragash added a unique element to their photographs.

The workshop concluded with participants returning with a wealth and positive experiences. The result of their work, including a documentary movie and select photographs, will be showcased at the Barabar Center from May 20th to 23rd..

This project was supported by the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) through the Barabar Centre initiative.
