On March 11, 2025, we had the pleasure of attending a working breakfast meeting hosted by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kosovo, bringing together international stakeholders to discuss key findings from our public survey An Insight into the Challenges, Needs, and Attitudes of the Kosovo Serb Community, which examined key issues such as:
π Access of Kosovo-Serbs to Public Services at the Local Level
π Access of Kosovo-Serbs to Public Services at the Central Level
π The Phenomenon of Serbs` Mass Migration from Kosovo
π Institutional Participation of Kosovo-Serbs
Additionally, we shared empirical findings from three Community Forums, which explored:
πΉ Return to Institutions in the North β Challenges and Opportunities
πΉ Access to Services and Rights at the Local Self-Governance Level
πΉ Parliamentary and Upcoming Local Elections & the Future of Kosovo Serbs
The discussion also addressed the broader socio-political context and its implications for the Kosovo-Serb community at this critical moment – not only for Kosovo but for the region and beyond.
This project Moving from ‘Integration’ to(wards) a New Social Contract for a Truly Multiethnic Kosovo is implemented in a partnership between Center for Affirmative Social Actions – CASA and Space/s for Societal Change β Space/s, with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Kosovo.
