Project objectives:
The main goal of this project is to improve social support for people with disabilities in minority communities in Kosovo, with a specific focus on their economic empowerment and social inclusion. To achieve this, the project will aim to enhance the capacity of grassroots civil organizations to create and implement effective programs that support people with disabilities. The proposed approach entails strengthening the role of civil society organizations through collaboration and knowledge sharing, empowering them to become recognized actors in this field.
Expected results:
The project proposes the creation of an Alliance for Fair Chances a coalition of civil society organizations working in minority communities, which will focus on the economic empowerment of people with disabilities. The project will also provide training for up to 20 civic activists operating in Kosovo Serb communities across Kosovo for job counseling services to persons with disabilities in local communities.
