On 28 June 2025, NGO CASA presented the publication Public Survey Report – Perceptions of Compromise in the Kosovo–Serbia Normalization Process: Difficult Questions Ahead at the Barabar Centre in Pristina.
The report, available in English, Serbian, and Albanian, offers a unique insight into how Kosovo Albanians and Kosovo Serbs understand and relate to the idea of compromise in the context of the ongoing normalization dialogue.
Drawing on public survey data, the report highlights a wide range of views, concerns, and expectations, reflecting not only the political complexity of the issue, but also the deeply personal and community-rooted dimensions of compromise.
The presentation brought together researchers, civil society representatives, institutional actors, and members of the international community. An open exchange followed, with participants reflecting on how public perceptions should inform future dialogue processes. The discussion reaffirmed the need for inclusive and community-based approaches, grounded in the lived experiences of citizens.
This initiative was led by NGO CASA, with support from the Open Society Foundations – Western Balkans, and institutional support from the Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF), through the EJA Kosovo program co-financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and Sweden.
